Faculty, Staff and Retirees are eligible for up to $310 in savings on Dish Network Service. The $310 savings includes, $120 in bill credits when subscribing to HD programming, $75 in bill credits just for being affiliated with Ohio State, 3 months free of HBO & Cinemax ($65 value) and a $50 bill credit if selecting an 18 month agreement (not required). Flower Factory
As an educational institution, OSU Faculty, Staff and Retirees are eligible for a free membership to The Flower Factory, a wholesale superstore source for home décor, silk flowers, party supplies, scrap booking accessories, gifts, jewelry, bridal accessories, pottery and more. Retirees must bring a copy of the letter to accompany the completed the membership form to participate. Turn it in at the service counter at the Flower Factory outlet near you.
Ford Offer Vehicle Discounts for OSU Employees
Ford Motor Company provides special discounts to Ohio State faculty, staff and retirees on a wide range of new vehicles. Most vehicles can be purchased at the manufacturer's employee rate plus 4%. Some models have a different price structure or may not be eligible. See plans for details. Dealers may choose whether or not they will participate in the discount programs, so individuals interested in using the discounts should call ahead to find out if the dealer honors the discount plans. Newport Aquarium
Ohio State faculty, staff, students, and family members can save $3 for each adult ticket purchased and save $1.95 for every child (ages 3–12) when you show your valid Ohio State ID card. The discount will be taken off the regular general admission ticket prices of $17.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors (65+), and $10.95 for children (3-12). There is no charge for children 2 and younger. The Newport Aquarium is located next to an entertainment, dining, and shopping complex along the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati via I-71.
