OHRC creates and coordinates learning experiences for emerging and existing leaders to discover their strengths, enhance their skills, maximize their potential and improve their relationships and work effectiveness.
Leadership development is not limited to a particular level or role in an organization. It is a continuum that embraces the needs of leaders throughout the organization and at all stages of career development. It assists new leaders entering the organization as readily as it does individuals seeking to enhance their leadership effectiveness or transition to new opportunities.
Qualities of leadership, often expressed through focused vision, creative initiative and value-added contributions, are now required of many. Lectures, seminars, workshops and training sessions certainly serve a useful purpose, but the qualities that are need to provide great leadership come from within the person and need to be developed from the inside outward.
