Assessment
Leveraging strengths and developing areas that need strengthening begin with an assessment. We partner with our clients to design and implement customized, organization-level assessments such as climate surveys. In addition, the Organization Development Consultants are certified in the following leadership and/or team assessments:
- Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQi) measures emotional intelligence, a set of skills that enable us to make our way in a complex world – the personal, social, and survival aspects of overall intelligence. The EQi is used with leaders to increase their self awareness about critical interpersonal and stress management skills, and to assist them in understanding the impact of one’s emotions on others.
- Leadership Practices Inventory is a 360° leadership feedback instrument developed by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. It measures five practices of exemplary leadership: model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge the process, enable others to act, and encourage the heart.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a widely-used instrument for identifying personality differences and is based on Carl Jung’s theory of psychological type. The goal of the assessment is to enable leaders and work groups to improve communication and interpersonal relationships through an understanding of and appreciation for personality-based differences.
- Strengthsfinder (Gallup) identifies the ways in which people most naturally think, feel, and behave as unique individuals. Research has shown that individuals enhance their performance most when they build upon their talents to develop strength - the ability to provide consistent, near-perfect performance in a specific task.
