Staff Appriciation Week Image

Staff Appreciation Week was August 18-22. This special week is designated by the Office of Human Resources to recognize the thousands of Ohio State staff for their valuable contributions to the successes of the university, its faculty, staff, students, alumni, and customers. Each college, department, and office is encouraged to honor and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of its staff with special activities and events.   • Ohio State recognized as one of 'Great Colleges to Work For'
    The Ohio State University, the nation's largest campus, has been named as one of the top employers according to The Chronicle of Higher Education's inaugural 2008 "Great Colleges to Work For" survey. The university was recognized as a top-five employer in five of the publication's survey categories, including compensation and benefits, confidence in senior leaders, health insurance, housing assistance programs and life insurance.     The summer issue of Resources, the Office of Human Resources’ quarterly newsletter, is now on the web at hr.osu.edu/resources.
